Rumble Homes is a family business specializing in custom homes & renovation.
The company was founded in 1973 by John Rumble, a man who had taken his interest in carpentry from a young age through studies in construction building in Chatham to firstly diploma level, then following that, to receiving his license. He perfected his trade over several years working as a contractor, carpenter and cabinet maker doing everything at the job site, all the way down to drawing the blueprints. With his wife Margaret taking care of the book-keeping and office work, and his son Jeff working by his side, John quickly gained much respect in the business as a reputable contractor who was known for his good work. John Rumble retired in 1998, leaving Jeff to carry on the family business and to further develop the excellent reputation the company has earned over the years due to their outstanding workmanship.
Born and raised in Chatham, Ontario, Jeff Rumble worked alongside his father for ten years before receiving his advanced carpentry ticket and license in 1985. Jeff puts pride and craftsmanship into every project, and is clearly seen in the local work he has done over the past 30+ years. Jeff is a working contractor who is on site and there to make sure you the customer are getting exactly what you need. Jeff is a family man who began in the business with his father, and is carrying on that tradition today, as both his sons are now working by his side.
Rumble Homes is a member of national, provincial and local Homebuilder’s Associations. Were Jon Rumble has served as an OHBA board member through 2020-2021 and local President for CKHBA through 2019-2021.
